Administrator and User Passwords Recovery Utility

Active@ Password Changer is a useful utility which helps in changing forgotten administrator system password and allowing access to Windows XP (XP+SP2), 2008, 2003 VISTA and Windows 7 operating systems.

These Help Screens (1-7) will help you in using the Active@ Password Changer program.

Screen 1. Start Window.

Comments

You can select the type of search for Security Accounts Manager (or SAM) database in your system.

Screen 2. Logical Drive Selection.

Comments

Program displays all logical drives in your system, so you can choose the specific logical drive for SAM database search.

Screen 3. Detected MS SAM databases.

Comments

You can see the search results for the security databases. You can select the proper SAM database.

Screen 4. List of Local Users.

Comments

After SAM database selection you will see the local user accounts list. Built-in local Administrator account is always on top of this list and is outlined by CYAN color.

Screen 5. User's Account Information.

Comments

A detailed user's account information is displayed on the screen. It is possible to accept or to change default settings in the right column.

You take a decision - to reset a password for this user account or not.

Screen 6. Changing Account Parameter "Permitted Logon hours".

Comments

The screen displays how to set the permitted logon hours and days for the user.

Screen 7. Resetting Windows Password.
